love has so many tongues running
in myriad shells
on sky-like surfaces, hills, and crevices
cupping with lascivious intent whenever a body is caught
on top of the top, inside and insight
a crown is brought
oysteriously iridescent and slick
keep it because
doesn’t last, can’t lick life forever
the tongue has a limit, and the buds go numb
the mind has none
God has a nun; imagine only one swell
the body as a whole, the entirety, can’t always enthrall
cells give up, wrinkle, and shrink
eat time and can’t handle a drink
intoxicated, belittled receptacles
run naked in rooms of flesh only an inch square
a pearl
eternal to suck on is rare
